Willersley Castle is located in 65 acres of grounds; it occupies a commanding position overlooking the River Derwent and the village of Cromford in the heart of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

Many of the original features can still be seen today. The most striking of these is the Well Gallery, an oval gallery with a glass dome situated in the centre of the building, with cantilevered galleries on the first and second floors. An Adams archway leads through the building towards the Well Gallery, whilst the Music Room, Drawing Room and Dining Rooms all contain original features.

Festival Events:

On Friday 22nd May at 2.00pm visitors can join Simon Chandler for a tour of the house and grounds. (approx 1.5 hrs).
