ARCHIVE : STILL TIME TO GIVE YOUR BUSINESS A BOOST AT PRESTIGIOUS FOOD AND DRINK FAIR
Local food and drink businesses are being encouraged to snap up a stall at a prestigious food and drink fair which is being held in May.
The Derbyshire Food Fair, organised by Derbyshire County Council, is being held in the grounds of the spectacular Kedleston Hall, near Derby on Saturday and Sunday 22- 23 May.
People running food and drink businesses, traders and producers use the fair to promote their goods and highlight their businesses to local people and tourists from across the country.
And one local business using the fair to promote his business is Steve Croot of Croots Farm Shop, Duffield. Steve said:
"The Derbyshire Food Fair has got better and better over the years we have been attending. It is a wonderful stage for lots of fantastic local and regional food.”
“As well as promoting our business we get to meet both regular customers and lots of new ones. We are really excited about the event moving to Kedleston and we are looking to have a great time there"
Traders, food producers and craftspeople wanting a stall are being urged to sign up now to secure a space in one of the marquees that will be in the grounds.
As well as the marquees there will be a wealth of entertainment to suit all tastes including live music, well-dressing, street theatre, competitions, face painting, arts and crafts.
